Close Brothers Vehicle Hire has launched a new Bus and Coach Rental division, recruiting former EvoBus UK Managing Director Mike Beagrie to lead the new part of the business.
Now Managing Director of the Bus and Coach Rental division at CBVH, Mike will lead a new initiative to replicate Close Brothers’ highly successful leasing and rentals business model in the bus and coach industry.
With more than 35 years’ experience in automotive related industries, Mike brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role.
Mike said: “After taking the opportunity of early retirement in 2014, I quickly realised that it was too soon for me to leave the business world behind. Whilst I received a few interesting approaches, the offer from Close Brothers was too enticing to turn down.
“Their ethos and culture is very much like my own, with a clear focus on building relationships, providing exceptional customer service and employing sectoral expertise to best meet customer needs. In particular, their total commitment to treating customers fairly has always been a core value for me.
“I’m excited by this new challenge and look forward to bringing the Close Brothers modern merchant banking approach to the coach and bus industry, which I know will welcome the innovative and bespoke solutions we will develop over the coming months.”
The Bus and Coach Rental division of CBVH falls within the Leasing and Rentals division of Close Brothers.
