MCA Enterprises Ltd is a well-established importer and wholesaler of long-life bakery products, such as bread, cakes and pastries. They work with a range of supermarkets and convenience store groups to distribute products.
Business challenge
The business delivers to supermarkets and other shops 6-days per week, so it is important that they have suitable vehicles which allow them to meet customer demand.
Previously, the wholesalers used a variety of sources to lease and hire trucks. This led to challenges around quality and made it difficult to replace vehicles if there was a breakdown or servicing requirement.
To improve their overall service, MCA Enterprises decided to find a fleet supplier that better met their needs.
The solution
MCA Enterprises spoke to Close Brothers Vehicle Hire about their requirements. With a wide range of trucks available, we were able to supply a more reliable vehicles and support.
By working with the business, we arranged a 12-month contract hire solution. This included good quality, DAF 18T box trucks at a competitive rate, as well as a service package which fits around their downtime.
